Clinical Practice Improvement Committee Description & Roster

STRATEGIC PLAN GOAL: LEADERSHIP
SCA will be a recognized resource for education for healthcare providers engaged in the care of patients undergoing cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.

MISSION
The Clinical Practice Improvement Committee’s mission is to facilitate the dissemination of concise educational resources geared towards appropriate implementation of best practices and clinical practice guidelines.

PURPOSE
The main purpose of the CPI Committee is to impact the field of cardiothoracic and vascular anesthesiology by facilitating education of clinicians regarding appropriate interpretation and consistent application of best practices and guidelines. The committee evaluates the patient outcome effect resulting from the increased implementation of these best practices and guidelines.
