Application Process:

We are excited to offer 4 fellowship positions to residents who are creative, hard working, critical thinkers interested in gaining skills in patient care, advanced perioperative echocardiography, basic science and clinical research, leadership, education and process improvement. Our fellowship values integrity, team work, and perseverance, and our faculty members are a diverse group of motivated educators, physician-scientists and leaders with a wide variety of clinical and research expertise. We create a collegial environment for our fellows to learn complex adult and pediatric cardiothoracic anesthesiology, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), intracardiac echocardiography (ICE), and pacemaker and ICD management. Echocardiography is a vital component of fellow education, and we emphasize 3 dimensional echocardiography and strain imaging from a clinical and research perspective. Our fellowship is designed to train future physician leaders; we look forward to reviewing your application.
