General Program Information:

Our cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship is built to produce well-rounded, clinically excellent physicians who upon graduation should be prepared to care for the entire spectrum of patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures. Extensive training in perioperative echocardiography, including 3D TEE, is a core component for the fellowship experience. Research opportunities exist for those fellows so interested. With two fellows per year, call is split equitably. The work atmosphere is collegial and friendly, and easily customized to the individual needs of each fellow.
