Please use this page as a tool to plan your stay, prepare for your session(s), and learn more about the meeting. We will continue to update and maintain this resource page with details pertinent to our moderators, so check back often. We hope this information will help make your conference experience an enjoyable and successful one.

Moderator Requirements

All moderators are responsible for the learning objectives of their session(s). Moderators are also responsible for writing at least 2 test questions pertaining to the content of your presentation, which may be included in the SCA Annual Meeting On-Demand product.
 

GUIDE TO WRITING LEARNING OBECTIVES

PBLD Handout

For PBLD speakers, your handout is expected to be a syllabus, which includes a case presentation with discussion materials. Click here to view a sample PBLD syllabus.

As a reminder, there will be no AV equipment (microphone, projector, etc.) available in the PBLD session rooms. If you wish to show videos or images in your presentation, you may use your personal laptop or provide images in the syllabus. Printed copies of the syllabus will not be provided to the PBLD participants; however, the syllabus will be made available via the meeting app.

Registration and Housing

Unless otherwise specifically noted in the faculty confirmation letter from the SCA executive office, SCA does not make hotel reservations for faculty. Please visit the "Plan Your Trip" page for all travel and housing information.
 
If you are entitled to complimentary registration, you will be registered for the meeting and event at which you are speaking.  If you would like to make changes, please contact Member Services:
Everyone with a faculty role must complete the online registration form in order to attend the meeting and claim CME credits. The session information letter sent via email by SCA Management indicates if SCA is providing you complimentary registration for the annual meeting.
 
PLAN YOUR TRIP

Upon Arriving in Chicago

Check-In at Registration

All moderators MUST check in at the Registration Desk prior to your first session. SCA Management will have your name badge and other relevant registration materials.
 

Room Assignments

Room sizes range from approximately 75-900 people each.  Assignments will be printed in the onsite Program Book that you will receive upon check-in at the registration desk.
 
Please arrive at the room assigned for your session at least 15 minutes prior to its start time.  
 
Your session(s) may be recorded for the 2019 Annual Meeting On Demand product unless you notify SCA Management prior to the meeting via email that you would like to opt out.
