American Board of Anesthesiology's (ABA) Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology (MOCA)As a member benefit, SCA will directly forward your CME credits that you earn from SCA educational activities to your own personal Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology (MOCA) account at the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). SCA members attending continuing medical education (CME) offerings sponsored by SCA do not have to enter their CME data into the ABA system manually, and the CME activity is not subject to the audit and verification procedures for activities the ABA credits towards the Lifelong Learning and Self-Assessment component of the MOCA program. Here's what you need to do…Go to the Members' Only section of SCA's website. You will need your username and password as well as your ABA ID number. SCA's website provides instructions on how to obtain your ABA ID number if you do not know it. If you don't know your SCA username and/or password, please contact this office at (804)282-0084 ext. 303 or sca@societyhq.com.
