Travel Information

A family resort with a highly-rated children's and adult's ski school, Snowmass Mountain is comprised of 3,000 skiable acres. Also owned and operated by the Aspen Skiing Company are Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk Mountain and Aspen Mountain. It would take an ambitious skier to cover all four in a week. Interchangeable lift tickets, complimentary transportation to every mountain during the skier day. The variety of terrain in Snowmass breaks down as follows: 7% easiest, 55% more difficult, 18% most difficult and 20% expert. There are 20 chairlifts and five on-mountain restaurants. Snowboarding is OK except on Aspen Mountain.

Snowmass Village boasts 95% lodging ski-in/ski-out. For the meeting, there are a variety of lodging options from hotel to condominium with rates to suit every budget. Snowmass Village Resort Association reservationists will review bed configurations and amenities for meeting participants.

Easy air access into Aspen Airport on #100 passenger United Express jets. Snowmass Resort is located 15 minutes from the airport with most properties providing complimentary transfer. Direct flights from Minneapolis on Northwest, from Phoenix on America West, Memphis on United. From 12-20 flights a day on United Express #100 passenger jets from Denver Intl Airport. Rental cars are not necessary as there is a village-wide shuttle, complimentary bus system to the other three mountains throughout the ski day, and bus to and from Aspen every 30 minutes for $3 fare.
