Evaluation and Management of Heart Failure: Assessments of CM, Transplant, VADs Using TEE and Other Modalities

(Workshop limited to 150 registrants)

Educational Objective: This session will feature a comprehensive, in-depth description of the modern theories and practice in the area of congestive heart failure. The participants will learn: 1) the latest in-depth cardiology research in congestive heart failure; 2) the importance and practical application of receptor down regulators; and 3) specific anesthetic practices and echocardiological interpretation and diagnosis, including end-state treatment especially in the area of smaller and more efficient left ventricular assist devices.
